Remarriage after divorce is adultery 💍

God said if a woman gets a divorce, let her remain unmarried
If you get a divorce, you cannot get remarried into the person that you divorce passes away first .

1 Corinthians 7:10-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.

Jesus clearly permit divorce on the grounds of fornication, any remarriage, whether by the innocent or the guilty party, is forbidden (Matt. 5:32).

➡️ And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commiteth adultery: ⬅️
and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery (Matt. 19:9).

Marriage between Christians is, according to Paul in Ephesians 5:22-33, a picture of the relation between Christ and His church. This relation between Christ and His church is so intimate that Christ and His people become one flesh. They cannot be torn asunder. The marriage is eternal and forever.


Matthew 19:9 on Divorce & Remarriage

Before we even begin to answer this question, let us reiterate, "God hates divorce" (Malachi 2:16). The pain, confusion, and frustration most people experience after a divorce are surely part of the reason that God hates divorce. Even more difficult, biblically, than the question of divorce, is the question of remarriage. The vast majority of people who divorce either remarry or consider getting remarried. What does the Bible say about this?

Matthew 19:9 says, "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." See also Matthew 5:32. These Scriptures clearly state that remarriage after a divorce is adultery,

IS BOUND BY LAW TO HER HUSBAND
WHILE HE LIVES,

BUT IF HER HUSBAND DIES
SHE IS RELEASED FROM THE LAW OF MARRIAGE
