I found one of these on Craigslist the other day and thought I'd try it out. I can't find any others for sale online at the moment, and there are only two or three YouTube videos - so I figured I'd share this for posterity.
The Ludwig LM305 is a phosphor bronze, imported from Taiwan 14x5.5" snare that seems to have been made from about 2000-2009. It's technically not a "Rocker," sort of a mid-grade tier that shares the Rocker badge, throw, and snare wire. Still, referred to as a "Bronze Rocker" here and there so I included that in the title. Here's an original sales listing from musicians friend if you want to check it out:

It's a pretty cool little snare, looks sharp and sounds great. With Reverb estimating a value between $155 and $265 it's sure more accessible than most any other brass or bronze Ludwig you're likely to find.
I'm really digging it, with one exception - the Rocker throw off is kinda garbage. When I picked it up the throw wouldn't even drop the snare wires to stop the buzz no matter how you adjusted it. After playing around with it and swapping the plastic straps for ribbon I've got it usable, but will almost definitely be replacing it at some point.
Sorry it's not a super pro demo - I'm a guitarist/sound guy and we'll say I'm a super amateur drum hobbyist. Mostly made this because there is so little info on this drum available.
Recorded at The Good Old Days Studio in Grand Rapids, MI. Flat EQ and no compression on the snare mic (SM57) or mix bus, no muffling of any kind on the snare, no reverb, mixed for the most natural and snare forward sound I could get. The kit is a Premier Artist Birch Made in UK and the cymbals are Sabian Paragons.
