Today:
Monday starts with showers across England and Wales with longer spells of rain for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Through the rest of the day we'll have further scattered showers with some heavy downpours in places. Longer spells of rain are possible across southern Scotland and north east England but the showers should generally ease down through the late afternoon. Temperatures will range from 15C in the north to 25C in the south. Generally turning cooler and fresher as the day wears on.
Tonight:
Some scattered showers but many places will miss them and stay dry. A cooler night with temperatures dropping into single digits across Scotland at 6C to 9C. Warm but not as warm as recent nights further south at 13C to 17C.
Tomorrow:
Scattered showers but most places staying dry with bright or sunny spells. Fresher at 15C to 23C.
Outlook:
Wednesday: Mainly dry and quite warm, just a few scattered showers.
Thursday: Scattered showers in the north, mainly dry in the south. Near normal temperatures.
Friday: Mostly dry but some scattered showers. Warmer.
