Oftentimes eldercare facilities are designed as hospitals when in, reality, they really aren’t. This episode looks at the results that can happen when architects and physicians work together, to design for the elderly. When spaces are designed for those who live within them as opposed to those who work at them, the result can lead to dramatic long-term positive change, turning facilities into functioning communities.
