How do you Transmute Trauma?
Hello, my beautiful friends. I was having a conversation this morning about trauma, and I figured while it was fresh in my mind, I would talk about it a little bit. Trauma is something that no matter who you are, you have experienced. We are all carrying around some level of trauma. In the past, things have happened to us and that emotional experience sticks with us. It ends up being something that we react to when when we find ourselves in a similar situations, it triggers an emotional response that may be unjustified in the current situation.
In the work that I do, over the years, I've helped people a lot with releasing trauma. I've also intentionally worked on my own trauma triggers quite a lot. One of the things that I've come to understand is that releasing trauma isn't about finding something inside of you and tearing it out of you.
Releasing trauma is, really when it comes down to it from my perspective, about changing your state of consciousness. Trauma is not something that is necessarily bad, at all. It can be an amazing catalyst for massive amounts of change in your life. It is the perfect fuel for forward motion to get you moving, and fertilizer to help you grow in line with your soul's purpose.
I believe that, on one level, we actually choose these things. We step into this time space reality, and we have somewhat of a path laid out for ourselves. Some of these traumas, especially the big ones, we have laid out for ourselves to experience, to work through, and ultimately to utilize that experience as a catalyst to shift our state of consciousness.
When we get to the point where we are able to shift our state of consciousness, that trauma is naturally kind of dispersed or integrated. It is that perfect fertilizer for massive growth in our lives.
Anyways, it's something to think about, and maybe a different perspective on trauma. Try thinking about trauma in terms of it being an invitation to shift your state of consciousness, especially when you experience triggers from past trauma. Realize that it is not something that you have to fear, push down, or try to tear out of yourself, but it's an invitation to start working on shifting your state of consciousness. It's an invitation to actually utilize that trauma in the intended purpose that you had set for yourself in experiencing that trauma in the first place. Because after all, that's what you're here to do, to learn and to grow, to shift your state of consciousness higher and higher so that you ultimately remember who you truly are.
