More recently, local middleweights Raul Garcia (13-0-1, 10 KOs) and Angel Arias (22-6, 18 KOs) have been trying to make a big fight. But the fight did not last long.
In the 2nd round, the referee separated the fighters from the clinch, after which Arias for some reason lightly hit the third in the ring on the shoulder. The referee did not appreciate this reception and decided to stop the fight, awarding the victory to Raul Garcia.
