"A Kafka-Esque Nightmare": Saif Khan's $110 MIL Suit Against Yale University
AN INNOCENT MAN.
In 2018, Yale student Saif Khan was acquitted of all charges against him in a criminal rape case. The jurors found that the claimant was not credible, after viewing pertinent evidence which had been withheld from discovery. Saif thought the nightmare was finally over, but the following year, the university held their own Title IX committee which found him guilty and expelled him.
Saif is suing the University for $110 million. His case brings up substantial legal questions regarding the constitutionality of Title IX committees, the value of due process, and the right to confront your accuser. His passion for justice is equal for both victims of assault, and falsely accused men.
