Justice Ray Zondo as been appointed Deputy Chief Justice.
He replaces Justice Dikgang Moseneke who retired in May last year.
Justice Zondo practised as a human right and labour lawyer, having begun his career as an articled clerk under the late Victoria Mxenge. He also served on several commissions and committees.
