0:00 Intro
0:05 The technician said this wasn't a joke and it actually happened.
This happened in Eastern Canada as well where things rust quickly just in case you're wondering.
0:18 Person who filmed it said: "I work in a parts department at a dealership. The customer came in saying her keys do not unlock the door, so I changed the batteries in the key. Stunned that it still didn’t work, I went up to the car to manually lock and unlock it and found that it tried to start the car instead of unlocking it as it should!"
0:39 Technician said: "Late 90s VW transporter. Came in for a pre-road trip check, they knew they needed a tire but they had just had the automatic transmission rebuilt and the shop that did it missed an o-ring on the cooler which unfortunately filled the trans with coolant. Thankfully the trans is fine after copious amounts of flushing with fresh fluid and otherwise, the vehicle was in surprisingly good shape given how it looked. Also, the clip shows the ant nest I found in the tire which made it rather uncomfortable to remove. We had to have an exterminator come in because the entire vehicle was infested with ants and spiders and such."
0:47 No extra info from tech. However, those are the u-bolts that hold the leaf springs to the rear differential. Lucky they didn't wait to bring it in sooner.
0:59 The tech said they had the wrong size bolts in most spots, 1 screw (from door panel), and threads were stripped. As well you shouldn't need RTV silicone if you're using a pan gasket. Hopefully, there's no RTV that is in the transmission because that will cause some issues lol.
1:20 Technician said: "So we called the people and they said that an employee "checked" the oil last week and it was low. He left the cap off. So it was probably around 300 miles/482 kilometres. They drove it like this."
1:38 That's very random lol.
1:46 Luckily the customer got new tires installed.
1:51 Look at the spelling of Original on the sign lol.
Thought it was a funny one to share.
2:10 The technician said the vehicle was very damp inside.
2:21 The technician said they drove their vehicle in high water. They ended up filling the engine full of water which is what you use when he removes the drain plug.
2:31 Oil leak was from the oil pressure sender. The vehicle is a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. I'm surprised they made it to the shop with any oil still in the engine.
2:39 No extra info.
2:49 Technician said: "The poor guy, he rang his boss and they were both waiting there with the car's owner for us to arrive. Securing strap on the flatbed snapped as it was tilted to be unloaded and the car just took a joy ride off the truck through the door faster than he could move."
3:02 Outro. Thanks for watching!
