Mary Berry quit Bake Off after it moved from the BBC to Channel 4. In an interview previewing the series and what to expect, Prue and Paul spoke out.
Paul then said: “Mary hates Prue! Mary hates Prue!” But she fired back: “I’ll tell you what, Paul Hollywood, I probably lift up Mary Berry’s cake book a little more than I do yours.”
As usual, the bakers will be put through their paces with a series of signature and technical bakes designed to test their skills in making all sorts of breads, cakes and sweet treats. The bakers will also need to impress in the showstopper challenge if they are to be named the week's star baker.
The pair will be back to judge the contestant's efforts, while Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas return to host.
