Hello! I wanted to share more details of the end of my marriage and how I started over. I know a lot of you are in this situation right now, so I hope this will be of some help. This was a hard video to do and I think what made it even harder was knowing Bill and I reconnected 2 years ago when I found him so ill and in the nursing home. Bill suffered from mental illness and at the end of our marriage made very poor decisions. He went through so much and now suffers from dementia at 71. These past years on my own have made me stronger and more confident. I did specific things that helped me with the grief...I had to focus, adjust expectations but most of all I had to stop living in a fantasy world that Bill was coming back and I would be rescued.
Thank you so much for being here! And thank you for your love and support...thank you for your prayers for Bill in that nursing home. I have not seen Bill since the COVID restrictions were put in place in March.
