Every time your mother starts mentioning your weight, simply say, "When you criticize me like that, it really hurts me." And say that every time she brings it up then immediately change the subject. Remember, moms think their children are mirror images of themselves, so if they are perfectionists, they often want their kids to be perfect too. What they don't realize is that kids are their own selves, independent of their parents.
