The Gettysburg Heritage Center hosted Scott Mingus, co-author of "Targeted Tracks," who talks about the importance of the Cumberland Valley Railroad during the Civil War. This one-track railroad running from Hagerstown, Maryland to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was used to move Union troops, ammunition and supplies, and was often under attack by Confederate forces.
