The Chinese Government plans to invest over One- Billion Dollars in the revitalization of the Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority -TAZARA.
Chinese Ambassador to Zambia DU XIAOHUI says this will be done using the Public Private Partnership -PPP-over the coming years.
Mr. DU says the revitalization of the TAZARA will strengthen cooperation of the people of China, Zambia and Tanzania as it will benefit all the three peoples.
He said this when he presented a proposed plan for the concession of revitalization of the TAZARA railway line to Transport Minister FRANK TAYALI at his office today.
And. Mr. TAYALI said the revitalization and commercialization of TAZARA remains one of Government’s priority areas.
