Ant McPartlin has been charged with drink driving but no further charges.The shamed TV presenter was given a court summons on Wednesday afternoon - three days after his car crashed into two vehicles in south west London.Scotland Yard said in a statement: “A man has been charged following a road traffic collision in Lower Richmond Road, SW14.that occurred on Sunday, 18 March.“Anthony McPartlin, 42, of Chiswick, has been charged by postal requisition on Wednesday, 21 March with drink driving.“He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on 4 April.” Dec Donnelly puts on brave face as Ant McPartlin remains 'on lockdown' Ant was subjected to a drug search by cops called to the scene after he allegedly lost control of his Mini and collided with two other vehicles.But no drugs were found on his person or in his car, Metropolitan Police confirmed.No further charges have been filed against Ant, who went into rehab last year to beat his addiction to prescription drugs and substance abuse.In a statement released by his rep on Monday afternoon, Ant vowed to return to rehab for a second time to battle his demons."Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from his current TV commitments," said his spokesman."He has spoken with Dec and ITV today and asked for time off for the foreseeable future.As such Saturday Night Takeaway will not be going ahead this Saturday."
