Went on the moors today to see how the rut is going and found a huge stag called BRUTE lying down with just the antlers showing. I waited for an hour for him to stand and got a shock as he was so big. at first he was not aware of me as i was in camo gear and face covered. He started to walk very close so i thought it best to show that i was there so uncovered my head!! at first he was shocked but then he was not amused and kept coming back and circled me, I made a slow and calm retreat!! and lived to tell this tale.....
