Some hashiras were summoned to help out some fellow demon slayers that were attacked by an unknown but powerful demon. Only the hashiras that were available at that moment were the only ones who went there, which is Shinobu, Mitsuri and Sanemi. When they reached there they saw a horrible sight. Giyuu was being controlled by the red strings and was dancing on a pile of dead bodies that he just killed.
