I have been visiting Mylapore Kapaleeswarar temple in Chennai since 1997. It's such an amazing temple of Lord Shiva and Parvathi. Goddess Karpagambal appeared in my dream in 2017 March. I feel happy to have her Darshan on 24th July 2018 with my parents. The temple environment is very good. The priests and authorities were kind. I felt peaceful and divine in the temple.
Chennai has very few ancient temples but this Mylapore Kabaleeswarar temple is situated in the heart of the city. If you wish to go on a pilgrimage to temples in Tamilnadu, make sure you visit Mylapore Kapaleeswar and Goddess Karpagambal if you get an opportunity.
More information: There's a very beautiful Goddess Durga Statue in this Kapaleeswarar temple. I used to offer lemon lamps to her and also Lemon garland whenever I get opportunity.
