Many single coil guitars have a tendency to pick up Electromagnetic Interference or EMI. One way to help reduce this unwanted noise is to line the body cavities with some type of shielding. In my case I'm installing copper tape.
In this video I shield my Telecaster and compare the before and after sounds.
