Method:
1. Buy hdd external 2.5 before modding.
2. Require: Paper cutter, Lead, Soldering iron, Sata power cable 4 pin (Yellow, Black, Red, Black), old charger cable, soldering flux, dust tape, multimeter digital, Powersupply PSU Computer.
3. Cut PCB 5v power on hdd 2.5.
4. Solder and cable pinout (4, 5, 6 GND) and (7, 8, 9 5V) and (10, 11, 12 GND) and (13, 14, 15 12V) also.
5. Unmount SMD led power and solder led from HDD external, and power sata 12v on yellow and black cable.
6. Check short circuit PCB sata power pin using multimeter.
7. Cut dust tape using cutter paper and mounting usb male to male and cutted dust tape paste for USB male to male on cable power sata.
8. Connect to sata power cable on PSU Computer but power is on a led indicator and mount usb female cable to PC Desktop.
9. Detected hdd external compatible on sata 2.5 and sata 3.5.
