Upgrading To A Reef Octopus BR-110 Biopellet Reactor
In this video I will be upgrading my phosban 150 diy biopellet reactor to a Reef Octopus BR-110 on the 125 gallon saltwater aquarium. I will be removing the old reactor from the custom pvc manifold and replacing the outlet tubing before adding the Reef Octopus Reactor. I currently have 450ml of biopellets in the phosban and have added 150ml more after 24 hours of soaking in ro/di water. The reef tank is being powered by a jebao dcs 12000 return pump and im getting approximently 800gph of flow in the new biopellet reactor. I have added several new tangs to the reef and have also increased the amount of food being added on a daily basis. I have also added two new marine pure blocks that are mid cycle and will be processing nutrients in no time. The reactor has been up in running for a couple week at this point with no issues. I am pleased with the overall build and quality of this reactor and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.
