But now, Politicis has erupted over a video where some people are seen chanting 'Jai Shree Ram' as Muhammad Rizwan was walking back to the pavilion after being bowled by a peach of a delivery by Bumrah.
Soon after the video went viral on Social Media, DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin of the 'eradicate sanatan dharma' fame, wrote on X that this situation was a new low and such behaviour by the crowd was unacceptable.
The BJP slammed opposition leaders for criticising the chants and called DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin a mosquito which has come out to spread poison.
This incident drew mixed reactions on social media with a section of users sharing a clip of Muhammad Rizwan offering namaz on pitch and asked Udhay if this was alright for most, then why not Jai Shree Ram chants?
