We talk about the historic downtown area, which is full of buildings from the turn of the 20th century that have been maintained, and a slew of great shopping and eating options inside them.

We talk about several amazing outdoor options to explore too. There’s Grand Falls, which is lesser known than Niagara Falls, but is actually taller than Niagara! There’s also the Lava River Cave, where you’ll be able to wander inside a cave that was formed long ago by hardened lava, giving the walls an almost water-like appearance. Then there are fun outdoor adventures like skiing or snowboarding in the Arizona Snowbowl, or, on warmer days, hitting up Flagstaff Extreme for some ropes challenge courses and zip lining above the tall pines.

When you’re ready to learn, you’ll also be able to hit up the famous Lowell Observatory, home of the discovery of Pluto! And these are just a few of the many amazing attractions and sights that Flagstaff has to offer.
