Those of you who remember Issue #6 of July 2009 will recall “Alpine Bass, ” which quickly became a favorite and has been viewed more than 1.7 million times on the Catch Magazine YouTube channel since 2009. Nine years later, and still with that phenomenal experience in our memories, Brian O’Keefe and I set out on another alpine fly fishing adventure. This time we were in search of early season trout. We fired up my old Honda Trail 110 and hit the hills for a wild adventure through mud, wind, rain and snow. Brian riding the motorbike and fly fishing from a float tube, and I on my camera and filming via aerial copter, we battled the elements once again….catching big rainbow trout in the high country.
