Public Participation is a crucial part of environmental impact assessment. the pubic need to be informed and engaged to ensure that any proposed project will not interfere with the environment.
Its important to note that most development project will have impact to the environment both positive and negative impacts. it should be ensured that the impact will to be of adverse effect to the public and this is achieved by ensuring the public is given a chance to give their views and opinions. this views assist the Authority in decision making.
