Key differences for helicopter use are that the pedals are anti-rotation to keep the helicopter from spinning in circles and always requires some pedal off center so no centering spring is used. It also uses a collective stick with a twist throttle grip for adjusting the pitch of the rotor blades.

Shortly after creating this video I designs a much more compact but solid 3D printed mount for my Virpil Mongoose CM2 base. It looks much better than what is in the video.
