Footage recorded in a garden near Loughborough shows a heated standoff between a fox, badger, and hedgehog over food leftovers.
Researchers at Nottingham Trent University and the University of Brighton analysed hundreds of videos recorded by the public - similar to this footage - to investigate interactions within and between different species.
The study has revealed badgers, hedgehogs, foxes and cats are fighting and having stand-offs over food left in British gardens.
