This day was my most action packed day by far! I started my day by getting on the Sprinter at San Marcos, and riding all the way in to Oceanside. Then, I railfanned Oceanside for a bit until I had to catch Coaster 684. I rode to San Diego, and took Coaster 685 right back to Oceanside. Then I railfanned there a bit more before I got back on the Sprinter to head back to San Marcos to get our car. We drove to Encinitas to railfan there for a bit. I caught quite a few trains there. After that, we drove to Carlsbad Village to railfan there. I got a shave and haircut from Amtrak 591, which is pretty awesome. Then, after some time spent at Carlsbad Village station, me and my dad went to a pizza place to eat dinner. I went to the restaurant last year, and I loved it. It had great pizza, and a view of the Carlsbad Village crossing. I caught Amtrak 595 while eating. After that train, my day was over until tomorrow. Although I didn't see anything too special on this day, it was by far my favorite day in SoCal. I also got to meet two more railfans. They were BNSFGUY7777 and San Clemente railfan productions. They were very nice guys, and I was very glad to meet them both. So without any more delays, I hope you guys enjoy this video of 40 minutes of pure trains right in SoCal on the Surfline. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
