One year ago i bought my computer with a Radeon 5870 and wasnt aware that the card is not supported with the MPE. I was reading in the net and informed myself about how to make full use of the card in Premiere Pro. The only way for me was to install OSX (or buy a mac) on my Pc and get Adobe Premiere CS6. In CS6, Adobe made Opencl capable of using the MPE, but with just 2 officialy supported ATI cards on the Macbook pro. Thats the Radeon 6750 and 6770. There is an incredible easy workaround to make other cards usuable. This made a very nice system for me.The only hassle was getting the hackintosh to work, but thats another theme. Check it out.
