Making the Japanese woodworking joinery, "Ken Dome Nimai Hozo Setsugou" (Twin mortise and tenon joint with sword tip miter). Both sides have a sword tip joint and are hard to finish without gaps.
We use Japanese woodworking tools such as jigs and chisel to create precise miter. It also explains Japanese joinery techniques for making strong mortises and tenon joints.

This is one of the wooden joints for "First-class Furniture Making Master Craftsman," a national qualification in Japan.
