This is our long-awaited VFD Spindle Kit for Shapeoko. This is the way to go if you'd like something more powerful and quieter than a standard trim router.

Users have been buying spindles and VFDs from the beginning of the Shapeoko 3, but we only wanted to offer a spindle kit once we could do it right. Doing a spindle kit right includes finding good vendors, doing lots of testing, making it safe, and making it as plug-and-play as possible. We've nailed all of those with this kit.

Update (2024): The Shapeoko 5 Pro requires the use of an adapter to connect to the VFD. This adapter ships with the Shapeoko 5 Pro.
