ഒരു നാടൻ മത്തി കറി
Sardine - ½ kg (after cleaning)
Green Chilli - 4 nos
Raw mango - 1 (According to the sour taste of mango)
Ginger - 2 or 3 (small piece)
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Coriander powder - 1½ tsp
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
Shallots
Water
Salt
Curry leaves
Take the cleaned fish pieces in to a Curry Pot. Add raw mango pieces and Green Chillies into it.
Take grated coconut, ginger, shallots, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and grind well using a mixer grinder to make a smooth paste.
Put the above paste into the Fish Pot. Add water, salt, coconut-oil and stir. Keep the Pot on the Stove and cook for 20 mins in medium flame till the water level reduces and the curry becomes thick.
Heat a Kadai and fry small sliced shallots in coconut oil till it's color changes to golden. Add the same to the Fish Pot. Wait for 30 mins and use.
