Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, has blasted the measure to adopt a draft Palestinian resolution at the United Nations decolonisation committee on Friday, calling it part of a "long line of anti-Israel resolutions".
The resolution requested an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands since 1967.
