A blindfold challenge featuring a Gibson Les Paul Studio and an Epiphone Les Paul Studio. I've watched the Andertons blindfolded shootouts of Gibson vs Epiphone and wondered if you can really tell the difference especially as I'm nowhere near as good a guitarist as Rob Chapman. So here is my version of the blindfolded shootout : Gibson Les Paul Studio vs Epiphone Les Paul Studio.

I'd say that there is a difference between the Gibson and Epiphone but it is marginal. For £290 you probably can't beat an Epiphone Les Paul studio and I really love that guitar but the Gibson Les Paul Studio is definitely slightly nicer to play and that adds to how good it sounds.
