Ingredients
To marinate the fish
• 500-gram fish fillets
• Salt to taste
• ¼ tsp turmeric powder
For the masala
• 1 tbsp coriander seeds
• ½ tsp cumin
• A pinch of mustard seeds
• A pinch of fenugreek seeds
• ¼ tsp carom seeds
• 10 dried byadagi red chilies
• ½ coconut grated
• 1 small onion
• 5-6 garlic cloves
• A small piece of ginger
• A small ball of tamarind. (Soak it in hot water. Remove seeds and add them.)
• ¼ tsp turmeric powder
For the curry
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 onion
• curry leaves
• 2 green chilies, slit
