Places to Eat in St Agustine Florida: DJ’S Clam Shack

DJ Clam Shack was created in 2009 to bring easily accessible fresh seafood to Duval St in Key West. With fresh, high quality and reasonable price seafood, its a must try gem that made its way to the St Agustine area.


DJ Clam Shack was featured on Food Networks Diners, Drive -In’s and Dives, Won First place for best overall seafood for their main lobster roll at the St Augustine Seafood Festival and will treat you like family once you walk into their doors. With such a fun vibrant atmosphere its the perfect place to stop and eat after a stroll on St George St or a day at the beach. Here are a few items we tried:

Crispy Hand Breaded Fried Shrimp 10/10 - Golden brown perfection with a side of coleslaw and fries.

Over Stuffed Lobster 1000/10 - 1/2 LB of Maine Lobster claw and knuckle meat, toasted buttery roll with a side of butter- TOTAL perfection.

New England Claim Chowder Fries - 1000/10- Saucy delcious claim chowder over crispy fries - Had amazing flavor and are perfect for sharing.

Oyster Po Boy - 1000/10 - Fresh gulf oysters, chopped cabbage, house pickled onions and made from scratch cajuin tartar sauce. The succulent fried juicy oysters makes this a sandwhich you definately want to try.

Shrimp Po Boy 10/10- Fresh crispy shimp with chopped cabage, house pickled onions and made from scratch cajuin tartar sauce. The shrimp are always golden and super flavoful.

Bang Bang Shrimp 1000/10 - Special - not offered regualry but is so firece its one you want to try if during your visit is listed as the special. The sauce is made in house and is labor intensive, but it packs alot of amazinf flavors to the shrimp and why its SO Good….
