First of all if your car won’t start, and you put a jump on it and if fires right up then most likely you have an issue with the battery. Either something drained it or it’s bad.
Typically if you have a bad starter jumpstarting, it’s not gonna make any difference at all. Sometimes of the starters weak, but not completely bad it can work that way. Also, if the car won’t jumpstart, make sure you’re using the proper jumpstarting procedures. We’re going to include a link below on How to Properly Jump Start a vehicle that we shot a couple years ago. So if it jump starts, its probably not the starter.
