In this week's video, we get to take a look at BOTH of my
Sangamo Weston S200.31 instruments.
One is in original condition, and the other one has been rescued
and restored after an excessive and damaging ride on the way here.
Characteristics:
240v, 50Hz, single phase - two wire. 20-80A, 166.66 revs = kWh
These instruments also use the FLOTON* magnetic bearing.
The one with the completely clear front-case is the rescued and
restored one. When the camera closes-in on it for a close-up
shot, you will see some of the dings and scratches in the
metalworks inside, caused by the glass of the original case
being pounded into the front of the instrument.
