Housing prices aren't expected to fall anytime soon, as a lack of supply still hampers several major markets across the country.
It’s affecting both buyers and renters, who continue to struggle to find affordable housing options.
This week saw yet another record high, with average asking rents in Canada hitting more than $2,040 a month — up more than 10 per cent from last year.
