I try to extract some lessons from the experiences of those who lived through this disaster, and search for ways that we can use their stories to make ourselves better prepared.
During the hyperinflation the savings of the average German were completely destroyed, however anyone who stored their wealth in physical precious metals like gold & silver could have escaped relatively unscathed.
