Police in the French town of Calais have shown Sky News the ongoing attempts by migrants to sneak across the channel by hiding in lorries.

Police told Sky News' Adam Parsons that while some are caught, they can simply disappear into the night and try again.

Recent figures from the Home Office reveal at least 28, 395 people managed to make it across in boats last year.
