The IL-2 is a tank of a russian plane with more armor then most planes, a wide arsenal of available destruction, from bombs to rockets, a few 23mm cannons are fitted on this one and some Mg's to finish its arsenal, together with mucho ammo, makes for one deadly plane.
It's very fun to play in mixed battles, and several types are available, even some Premium versions.

A airborn IL-2 should be considered dangerous at all times,
especially if in a ground vehicle.
