Just a quickie video, as I'm doing some final tweaks on the Realistic MC-1201 Project, (this is part 6 of that project), and I'm installing bass reflex ports to see if they'll make more bass, louder bass from about 200 Hz on down.

I absolutely loved the sound of these in their sealed configuration, (I'm really digging the tight bass from acoustic suspension), but the problem with this particular setup is that I'm using a Dayton Designed Series DS-215 8, for the Woofer in these 2 ways, and those bass drivers are really better suited to a vented enclosure.

In this video I'm installing Zobels and flared bass ports to turn these i sealed cabinets into vented enclosures, with the end goal to increase the SPL of the lower bass region.
