Pigstep from Minecraft (1.16 the Nether Update), a rock/metal cover by High Z Productions. What could be a better match with this baseline than an 8 string guitar?

I've had the idea for this in my back pocket for a while now. Coming off a mini hiatus is the perfect time to bring this cover to life. For as long as Minecraft has been out, I think I’ve played the most during 1.16. Lena Raine did an incredible job with this one and this was the music disc I would play the most. Are you still playing Minecraft today?
This absolutely had to be done on an 8 string. The dubstep wubs translate so well. For the leadlines I wanted to finally use the European Solar I got at the beginning of the year to see what it could do. Not surprised at all that the distorted tone is fantastic, and the split coil neck position isn’t half bad for cleans. I’d have to say the neck profile feels closest to my E-II arrow, although the arrow’s neck feels thinner. The richlite fretboard took some playing in to feel nice but now that it’s all sorted out, it’s a great sounding, stable instrument.
I brought in the Ibanez J Custom for the longer held notes - The evertune bridge in the Solar is a useful tool however I’ve noticed evertunes don’t quite seem to have the longest sustain. Fair enough too, these are some long notes.
