This film, now in the public domain, premiered in Nazi-era Germany in 1938. No high-quality upload of this film seemed to exist, so I made one for my boyfriend, and anyone else interested in this particular era of film history. The German subtitles come from the Filmjuwelen [Gems of Film History] DVD release. Upscaling was done using Topaz AI Upscaler. The English subtitles are done using both OCR and Google Translate (with the help of my German-fluent boyfriend), so they won't be perfect. I think it did a good job, though. As far as I know, this is the first time this film has been translated into English.
