This drill exhibits the basic locomotive patterns on the wall. If you are a beginner climber, use this basic climbing move to become efficient in bouldering and sport climbing.
For boulderers, this is an important drill to warm up with and to understand left and right coordination. For sport climbers, use this move as often as you can to stay on the wall longer.
This drill takes out the need to bend the arms each time you move up. You won't always use straight arms, but when you do, it's going to feel solid because you have put the time in to learn this.
Other moves that go with this are the bug squishers, push-pull feet, and hips go with heels drill found in my Fundamentals of Climbing drills here on YouTube.
