The DARPA Robotics Challenge, held from December 20-21, 2013, was a first-of-its-kind event showcasing the current state of robotics for use in disaster response.
Drexel led a multi-school team, called DRC-HUBO, that was one of several worldwide competitors in the challenge. Teams completed several tasks that ranged from driving a utility vehicle to climbing a ladder.
The final round will be held later this year.
