Fallout 76 - is it Worth Playing in 2024?

Fallout 76 is coming on 6 years old now but I keep finding myself going back to the game time and time again so I wanted to let you know if I think it's worth playing the game in 2024. From the awful launch and Todd Howard quotes to years of work and loads of major updates, Fallout 76 is far from the awful state it was in when it first launched in 2018.
