Hey, everyone.
One of the Ali Express X79 single socket motherboards we've ordered has finally arrived. This is the Qiyida X79 Micro ATX motherboard with uses the 2011 socket. This video is an overview of the board along with the components we'll be using with it for the next set of videos.
This project is called Xeon Six, which is in reference to the Bionic Six cartoon that I used to watch when I was a kid. Sometimes, it's difficult to come up with project names but I thought this might work.
Stay tuned for the next episode where we will go into some benchmarks to see how this combination performs.
