In today's episode of Cosmoteer, we take a look at the new boost thruster. The boost thruster acts like a larger large thruster, but has a boost toggle which drains the booster of power, but provides a good amount of thrust. We also upgrade our ship in this episode. Not only do we have dual ion beam emitters and blasters, but we also have dual standard cannons and quad missile launchers.

In #Cosmoteer you play as a spacefaring bounty hunter. You are able to build and design your own space ships and command them in battle. Cosmoteer can be difficult at times, but it's already a ton of fun. We are currently playing in the bounty hunter game mode, which is the game's campaign. We are playing in version 0.14.2.
Cosmoteer is currently still in development and is available for free, for the time being.

When a weapon wants to shoot, the crew go pick up ammo or batteries at an ammo factory or reactor and bring them to the weapon—all simulated in real-time.
Physics That Matter
Every ship is part of a 2D physics simulation. Ships have weight and a center-of-mass depending on their size and shape. Small ships with lots of thrusters are realistically fast and nimble, while large ships with proportionally fewer thrusters are naturally slower and more difficult to maneuver.
